Membership in the Young Nonprofit Professional Network of DC (YNPNdc) is perfect for anyone interested in strengthening the nonprofit sector. YNPNdc members include mid-career professionals as well as those new to the nonprofit sector, recent college graduates, and others committed to the future of nonprofits in and around DC.
YNPNdc is an independent 501(c)(3) organization, affiliated with the national Young Nonprofit Professionals Network, which includes chapters in dozens of cities. We are a community of professionals working and living throughout the DC area who connect through professional development and networking events, as well as through online communities.
YNPNdc strives to enhance the skills, knowledge and network of every single one of our members. In order to best support young nonprofit professionals, we have built two membership options:
1) Professional Membership is for individuals committed to growing as leaders within their own organizations and within the DC nonprofit community. Professional Members want to help build the young nonprofit community in and around DC, and are committed to advancing the vital work of the nonprofit sector. Professional Members receive free admission to nearly all YNPNdc events, have access to exclusive events and professional services, and are first in line for information and invitations to unique opportunities with YNPNdc and with our partners.
2) Network Membership is for individuals new to the social sector, excited to grown their network and learn about the DC nonprofit community. Network Members may be new to the nonprofit sector, may still be in school, or may be considering a switch from the business world or from the public sector.
