As expressed in YNPNdc’s overarching Diversity Statement, our commitment to diversity and inclusion is founded on our belief that a healthy, viable and inclusive nonprofit sector must reflect the richness of the communities it serves. For the past year, YNPNdc has been collecting demographic data of its board members and volunteers through an open-ended and anonymous survey.
This data is used to provide a snapshot of how lived experience shows up in our work. We are proud to showcase who we are and what we bring to the nonprofit industry.
The current compilation of the data collected is found on our Diversity Statement page and includes information about how we identify, including race, immigrant experience, salary, and more. We will continue to update this annually as we continue to grow.
Starting in January 2024, YNPNdc will showcase demographic data of its members (if they so choose to provide this information) to continue to uphold our values of transparency and to celebrate the diversity of our community.
