Looking back over the last 4.5 years
The close of 2024 is a time for reflection and celebration. I’ve been thinking a lot about YNPNdc’s successes, challenges, and the amazing people I’ve met over the past nearly-five years – including many of you. As I say “see you later” (not goodbye) at the close of my tenure, here are a few YNPNdc highlights I’m honored to have been a part of:
- We launched a membership program! For a mere $45 (less for students) emerging professionals get access to networking and learning events, as well as members-only events. Members also get discounted training through the Center for Nonprofit Advancement. Become a YNPNdc member today.
- We redesigned our website email communications to better share educational content and highlight great organizations and pros in DC’s nonprofit community.
- We created new programmatic offerings to our community, such as the Everything You Ever Wanted to Know Speaker Series, where we hear directly from nonprofit leaders about their path to success. We look forward to expanding our offerings in the near year as well as continuing the events you know and love, like our monthly Coffee and Happy Hours and annual Mentorship Program (for which we’re accepting applications right now – apply to be a YNPNdc mentor or mentee.)
